Advantages and disadvantages of closed hydraulic system for concrete pump truck

Concrete pump trucks especially benefit from closed hydraulic systems. They essentially make the trucks run better and last longer.

Here are some reasons they are helpful

This allows concrete pump trucks to easily pump concrete very well and extremely quickly. Mecha Brothers utilizes sealed hydraulic systems in our concrete pump trucks to ensure that they operate to their potential.

Closed hydraulic systems don’t get as dirty or wet, so they require less maintenance and they last longer. Which is good because that means fewer trucks breaking down. And it means that Mecha Brothers’ trucks can last a long time without requiring a lot of repairs.

Strong to power transmission

Closed hydraulic systems also reduce leaks and mess, and are safer for the drivers who operate the trucks. It’s because this is how workers stay safe. At Mecha Brothers, safety of our employees matters to us, and closed hydraulic systems allows our workers to be more secure.

While closed hydraulic systems are wonderful, they can cost more to repair when something goes wrong. This could mean the repairs are more expensive. But Mecha Brothers does know how to treat our used concrete pump trucks, so we don’t let them go to pot.

Closed hydraulic systems

Closed hydraulic systems could be less versatile than open systems, meaning the boom concrete pump truck might not function as well in other circumstances. Still, even with those limitations, Mecha Brothers still employs them because they help our trucks run really good.

Advantages concrete pump trucks

In summary there are many advantages of the closed system for concrete pump truck. They make the trucks operate efficiently, they last longer, and they keep operators safe. But they can also be pricier to repair, and not as effective for some situations. Otherwise, Mecha Brothers wouldn’t use closed hydraulic systems – but we use them on our concrete pump trucks because we think the good outweighs the bad.
