Understand XCMG model references

XCMG’s current global XS-series pages describe truck-mounted concrete boom pumps across different placing heights. Examples include XS43, XS52, XS62 and XS72. These names are useful search references, but used machines can vary by year, chassis and regional specification. Do not copy current-model specifications onto an older unit without checking the plate and manual.

For a used-machine example involving site reach and five-axle transport, read the 2021 XCMG 67m site and transport review. It separates the published record from the measurements, permits and inspection evidence needed for the exact unit.

What to inspect on a used XCMG pump truck

  1. Confirm identity: compare boom-pump and chassis plates, VIN, year, serial numbers and visible configuration.

  2. Inspect the boom: check structure, weld areas, known repairs, pins, bushings, cylinders, slewing and outrigger operation.

  3. Review pump wear: inspect the hopper, agitator, valve, wear plate, cutting ring, delivery cylinders, lubrication and pipeline.

  4. Test hydraulics and controls: look for leakage and abnormal noise; test remote control, sensors, interlocks and emergency stops.

  5. Check the chassis: verify cold start, dashboard, mileage, engine, transmission, braking, steering, tires, axles and emissions information.

  6. Document the result: attach dated photos, video, test scope, known defects and agreed repair work to the transaction file.

    Price and quotation comparison

Compare quotations on the same basis: exact machine, condition, refurbishment, accessories, inspection, currency, Incoterm and destination. Review the concrete pump truck price guide before comparing headline prices.

    Parts and service planning

Before shipment, identify critical wear parts and locally available service support. For a parts enquiry, provide the model, serial number, part number and clear photographs. Mechabro can check available OEM or compatible options, but compatibility must be confirmed for the exact machine. See concrete pump spare parts.
